Joyce LaBriola, Artistic Director
Joyce LaBriola has a decade of sports marketing experience, working in the NHL, NBA and ECHL. Joyce is currently the Senior Director of Marketing for the Edmonton Eskimos and a proud member of Avenue Magazine’s Top 40 Under 40, Class of 2012. In 2003, she, along with her best friends in New Jersey, started the JTMF in memory of their friend James Tolin. After relocating to Edmonton, Joyce founded JTMF West in 2009 and produced the inaugural Artists for Life: Edmonton event in April of 2010. Joyce has also devoted over 30 years to the performing arts, now working steadily in the Edmonton theatre community, and has most recently appeared in Edmonton Opera’s production of Eugene Onegin.

David Mazerolle-Kuss, Executive Director
David is an aspiring Interior Designer specializing in Interior Redesign and Home Staging. Artists for Life: Edmonton is David’s first opportunity of this kind where he has been able to display his talents for design and share a passion for the cause; a cause that supports those close to him who live with HIV. David’s work with this foundation has afforded him the opportunity to fuse his creativity, energy & drive to help bring awareness, understanding and support to a valiant cause that continues to affect so many people in our community.

Jennifer Alabiso, Community Engagement and Volunteer Coordinator
Jennifer Alabiso is happily back to University Administration after a 10 year detour as Mom and an Arts Administrator, taking with her the training in building relationships and valuing conversations. Jennifer hails from the Boston area, completed her undergraduate work in English at Trinity College in Hartford CT and her M.S. Ed. at the University of Pennsylvania. She is excited to be joining the JTMF West team.

Sylvia Lejeune, Production Coordinator
Sylvia has been stage managing since 1997 for companies such as Theatre Calgary, Citadel Theatre, Firefly Theatre & Circus, Lunchbox Theatre, and Vertigo Theatre. She has taken a pause since moving to Edmonton in 2005 to raise her 4 children ranging in ages 8 years -1 year. She is thrilled to be dipping back into her career to production manage the JTMF West fundraiser with such a great group of people and for a worthy cause.
